Port State Control (PSC) is the inspection of foreign ships in national ports to verify that the condition of the ship and its equipment comply with the requirements of international regulations and that the ship is manned and operated in compliance with these rules. PSC programs are groups of countries working together to make sure ships in their area are safe and up to standard.
We work with ship owners and managers to improve compliance with safety standards. Our experts monitor fleets daily, using the results to guide our operations. We've created a checklist for routine ship maintenance “PSC Maintenance Checklist." It helps crews identify safety issues often missed during routine checks. Also, we providing survey and consulting services in connection with PSC inspection.
